2018 Mercedes-Benz E-class Diesels

Image
2018 Mercedes-Benz E-class New Look... The list of Dieselgate victims is not limited to those who believed the hype and availed themselves of those dirty, cheating Volkswagens, Audis, and Porsches. The scandal also sent tremors through the wider industry. While some automakers have chosen to weather the storm and keep selling diesels in the United States—Jaguar Land Rover has launched its new-generation Ingenium diesel engines, and Chevrolet sells the Cruze and Equinox diesels—others have hit pause. And there’s the strong sense that, at many automakers, the corporate finger is hanging over the stop button. That’s certainly the case with Mercedes-Benz and  its E-class . Despite being one of the pioneers of diesel passenger cars in the States—with an impressive percentage of its seemingly unkillable 300Ds still chugging along four decades later—Mercedes has cold feet. The brand  put a moratorium  on U.S. sales of new diesels in May, and we don’t sense any sign o...

Tech #20 Hackers shut down plant by targeting its safety system It's the first known attack of its kind. Hackers have already   attacked critical infrastructure , but now they're launching campaigns that could have dire consequences. Fire Eye  reported   that a plant of an unmentioned nature and location (other firms   believe  it's in the Middle East) was forced to shut down after a hack targeted its industrial safety system -- it's the first known instance of a breach like this taking place. While the digital assault was clearly serious in and of itself, there are hints that it could have been much worse. The malware, nicknamed Triton, hijacked a workstation using Schneider Electric's Triconex safety technology (typically used in power plants). The culprits hoped to modify controllers that could pinpoint safety problems, but some of those controllers entered a failsafe state in response and shut down the plant, leading operators to conduct the invest...

Health Tip #1 6 Foods That Contain More Calcium Than a Glass of Milk When we talk about your daily  dose of calcium , what comes to your mind? A tall glass of milk, perhaps?
